Job summary

Telespazio, part of the Leonardo Space Division, seeks a Ground Segment AIV Manager based in Rome to lead the Assembly, Integration and Verification activities for space mission ground segments. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage test campaigns, and ensure traceability from requirements to verification.

The role requires a Master’s in Aerospace or Computer Science and minimum 8 years in related fields, with strong English skills and a track record of managing complex AIV

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Ground Segment, Space Systems Integration, System Engineering or AIV activities.
• Proven experience leading integration and test campaigns for complex systems.
• Strong understanding of Ground Segment architectures and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Ground Segment AIV strategy, plans and procedures.
• Coordinate Assembly, Integration and Test activities across multiple Ground Segment elements.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary AIV engineers and specialists.
• Interface with System Engineering, Operations, Software Development, Infrastructure and security teams.
• Support anomaly investigations and root cause analyses.
• Oversee preparation and execution of infrastructure deployment, End-to-End Tests and Ground Qualification.
• Support Operational Validation Tests and Customer Acceptance Tests.
