Job summary

Telespazio Flight Dynamics Department in the Fucino Space Centre, Italy, is seeking a motivated early-career specialist to support Mission Analysis, design, and operations for GEO/LEO satellites, including LEOP tasks and routine mission phases.

The role requires 0–5 years of experience, Java knowledge, and strong English, with eligibility for security clearances. Hybrid work and a permanent contract are offered, along with growth opportunities and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS or Master’s degree in mathematics, physics, aerospace or engineering.
• 0–5 years of experience.
• Knowledge of programming languages, preferably JAVA.
• Knowledge of the OREKIT library (preferred).
• Eligibility to obtain relevant security clearances for National Programs.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Willingness to travel abroad and work at unusual hours during contingencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Mission Analysis support for Flight Dynamics requirements specification, design, development and verification phases.
• Provide Flight Dynamics support to Operations Concept definition and Operations Preparation.
• Provide Flight Dynamics support to Definition, Preparation and Execution of Launch & Early Orbit Phase (LEOP).
• Provide Flight Dynamics support to Definition, Preparation and Execution of routine Phases from Commissioning to Graveyarding.
• Support to anomaly resolution and investigation and Flight Dynamics operations for LEO, MEO and GEO satellites.
• Implement necessary System Evolutions in terms of Procedures, Configurations and Development.
