AVL Italia S.p.A is seeking a Solution Engineer to define customer solutions and create lean quotations incorporating AVL and third-party products and services. The role focuses on meeting customer requirements and accurate cost calculation following sales strategy.

You will collaborate with KAM, GAM and SE to drive opportunities, act as the primary technical interface, and develop tailored solutions with clear value propositions. Travel is expected as needed.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in proposal or solution engineering.
• Proficiency in English (good to advanced level).
• Willingness to travel.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with KAM, GAM and SE to drive sales opportunities and targets.
• Provide feedback on market trends and competitor activity to support strategy.
• Act as the main technical interface for customers, supporting RFQ definition and requirements.
• Propose, present, and adapt tailored solutions with clear value and technical concepts.
• Develop and deliver technical presentations at customer locations.
• Create accurate and competitive proposals combining equipment, software, and services.
• Ensure technical and cost correctness of quotations.
• Take ownership of proposals, coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage proposal timelines with sales and operations.
• Prepare technical proposals with risk analysis and acceptance criteria.
• Develop solution concepts and technical documentation including Tabletop Drawings (TTD).
• Maintain proposal data in Salesforce (status, versions, timelines).
• Ensure proper handover of information to operations.
• Involve project management early and apply requirement engineering best practices.
