MERMEC, Inc. in Italy seeks a Software Engineer to design and implement software for managing our devices, create intuitive user interfaces, and oversee data flow. You will analyze requirements, develop algorithms for image and 3D data, and train neural networks for classification, detection, and segmentation.

Strong English is required; Italian at least B2 is desirable. This is a full-time permanent role with electronic meal vouchers and welfare benefits.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or similar.
• 3 years of experience in similar roles.
• Experience in multithreading and image/3D data processing.
• Knowledge of computer vision algorithms; deep learning experience is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in English; Italian at least B2 is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze software and system requirements.
• Define and implement algorithms for image and 3D data processing.
• Train neural networks for classification, detection, and segmentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to define interfaces and requirements.
• Implement software solutions per specifications and quality standards.
• Support testing activities and propose improvements.
