Xchanging Italy, part of the DXC Technology group, is seeking a Software Developer to join the Market Data and Derivatives team in Milan. You will analyze requirements, design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, and contribute to testing and documentation.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science, strong Java/Spring Boot knowledge, and English fluency. Hybrid work is available, with a gross annual base salary starting from €40.000 and benefits including health, pension, meal

Competenze

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience in software development.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST Web Services, and SQL.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Pentaho, PowerShell, and Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies.
• Knowledge of Application Security practices and OWASP guidelines.
• Familiarity with code versioning systems and build automation tools (Maven/Gradle) and AI-assisted development tools.
• Good command of the English language.

Analyze functional requirements and regulatory developments; Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications; Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation in line with company standards; Participate in testing, validation, and release activities; Provide application support and operational oversight for the services managed by the team;

Requirements

Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related field; Previous experience in software development; Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST Web Services, and SQL; Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Pentaho, PowerShell, and Java EE/Jakarta EE technologies; Knowledge of Application Security practices and OWASP guidelines; Knowledge of EMIR regulation and the financial services industry is a plus; Familiarity with code versioning systems and build automation tools (Maven/Gradle) and AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT); Good command of the English language.

Work Location: Milan (MI) with Smartworking possibility

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €40.000.

Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA:Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per il personale dipendente dalle imprese creditizie, finanziarie e strumentali) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsability, experience and skills.
