DXC Technology is seeking an Expert Business Analyst to join the Custom Application Offering in Rome, with hybrid work options. The role includes end-to-end BA ownership for Public Sector projects, stakeholder coordination, and driving process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a technical or business degree and proven BA experience, especially in public sector environments. You will mentor juniors, shape requirements, and contribute to client proposals and presentations.

Job Description

DXC Technology is looking for a Expert Business Analyst to join the Custom Application Offering.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of business analysis activities for Public Sector clients, from requirements definition to validation of implemented solutions
• Lead client interviews to identify business issues and propose solutions
• Lead the documentation and design of processes to increase efficiency (decrease lead time, increase throughput, reduce cost, etc.) by creating roadmaps describing as-is and to-be customer environments
• Guide and support junior/mid team members on analysis and requirements-gathering activities
• Contribute to shaping, preparing, and delivering client presentations, workshops and proposals
• Guide team members in producing functional requirements for software development
• Identify and manage changes to requirements and identify risks for the company's clients
• Act as direct interface with internal stakeholders and clients for requirements gathering, solution validation and monitoring of alignment with business needs
• Effectively manage client's expectations
• Contribute to the definition and optimization of processes and procedures within the business analysis function
• Contribute to the hiring process through interviews assessing analytical and functional skills

We Require

• Degree in a technical or business discipline
• Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within the Public Sector field
• Advanced expertise in business process analysis, functional requirements definition and business solution design
• Ability to guide and mentor team members
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Proactive, data-driven approach
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different technical and business levels
• Operational autonomy and ability to manage priorities across multiple projects

Work Location: Rome, with Smart Working possibility.

Offer Package

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €36,000.

Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
