Qualcomm Europe, Inc. Italy Branch Office is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to strengthen the Arduino applications ecosystem.

You will work on developing cloud and web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable software solutions for education and professional contexts. The role requires 5+ years of software development experience, strong React skills, and English fluency.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• Contribute to all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle, building and maintaining React web applications using state-of-the-art technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

What you’ll work on

You will be part of a team of talented engineers in charge of developing cloud and web applications ranging between educational context to makers and professional business. As part of this job you will be in charge of:

• Contribute to all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle, building and maintaining React web applications using state-of-the-art technologies
• Collaborate with Software Architects and UI/UX specialists to define technical solutions and improving User Experience across all the Arduino applications
• Deliver value through a strong collaborative approach working in a cross-functional team, contributing finding creative solutions to enhance Arduino applications and tools.

What you bring

• BS/MS in Computer Science or other technical related fields
• 5+ years of software development work experience.
• 3+ years of frontend development experience
• Strong experience with React
• Good understanding of security and performance optimization concepts
• Fluent in English
• Great teamwork and positive attitude
• Proactivity and continuous learning mindset

Bonus Points

• Experience in the IoT field or with IoT protocols
• Experience with Typescript and the related tooling ecosystem
• Experience with React Native
• Experience working with design teams and specifications on Figma
• Familiarity with npm package bundling/releasing
• Deep knowledge of developer and debugging tools
• Knowledge of Arduino or similar electronics

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

• €46,800.00 - €70,800.00 annual (Gross)

The above pay range reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay range for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. This range includes two additional months of pay as part of the annual salary. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus). In addition, our highly competitive benefits package is designed to support your success at work, at home, and at play.
