Belmond is seeking a social media intern to assist the Southern Europe team in creating engaging content across Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. You will help with editorial planning, copywriting, community management and monthly reporting, under two Social Media Managers.

The role suits a marketing/hospitality student with strong writing, Canva and MS Office skills, fluent in English, and a passion for luxury hospitality.

As a social media intern in Belmond Southern Europe social media team, you will support the team in creating legendary and engaging content for our channels (Instagram, LinkedIn & Facebook).

You will contribute with ediorial plans development - content selection and copywriting, community management, analysis & reporting activities. Reporting to the two Social Media Managers, this is a fantastic opportunity for a multi-faceted candidate passionate about luxury hospitality industry, social media environment, creative writing and photography.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Community Management: the candidate will support the team in monitoring and managing our international community replying to direct messages & comments through our dedicated platform, engaging with our audience across all social channels.
• Creative Writing: the candidate will support the team in writing EN and ITA captions and short texts for our social media channels, learning and developing different storytelling using Belmond's Tone of Voice.
• Visual Content Selection: the candidate will support in curating and selecting visuals that are aligned to Belmond's art direction for the social media channels.
• Reporting & Analysis: the candidate will support the Social Media Managers in monthly reporting and analysis activities to measure and enhance our social media performance.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications or Hospitality related.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social media platforms.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent level of use of Canva.
• Passion and interest in the hospitality world & digital.
• Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to craft engaging and compelling content.
• Time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
