The Tour Guy in Salerno, Campania, is seeking a Social Media Content Specialist to own the full content cycle—from editorial planning to production, publishing, and performance analysis. You will manage Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, collaborating with content and video teams to align with the brand voice.

The role requires 1–2 years of social media content experience, hands-on video/carousel production, strong copywriting, and data-driven decision making.

This is a 6-month fixed-term position with possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.

The Candidate: We are seeking a Social Media Content Specialist with hands‑on experience creating and managing social content, able to own the full content cycle independently: from editorial planning to production, from publishing to performance analysis.

The role carries full operational ownership of our social channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), working closely with the content and video teams.

Responsibilities

• Editorial Planning: Manage the editorial content calendar based on available content, balancing the mix between TOFU, BOFU, and carousel content in line with channel strategy.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze post performance data to understand what works and what doesn't, identify patterns, and iterate on the best-performing formats and topics.
• Scheduling Publishing: Manage content scheduling, ensuring everything is actually published on time and in the correct format across the relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Content Production: Produce content (videos and carousels) for social media, aligned with company strategy, from ideation through editing/layout.
• Copywriting: Write captions for content, adapting tone of voice and messaging to the format and platform.
• Daily Stories: Produce daily Stories to maintain an active, consistent presence across channels.
• Collaboration with the Video Team: Work closely with the video team on content production, ensuring alignment between video assets and editorial strategy.
• UGC Coordination: Collaborate with the UGC team to integrate creator content into the overall editorial plan.

Core Qualifications

• Experience: at least 1-2 years of experience creating and managing social media content (travel industry experience is a plus).
• Content Production: hands‑on experience producing videos and carousels for Instagram/TikTok (filming, editing, even from a smartphone).
• Copywriting: strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and messaging across different formats.
• Data Analysis: comfortable reading platform metrics (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics) to inform editorial decisions.

Key Skills Mindset

• Ownership: able to independently manage the entire editorial workflow — from planning to publishing — without needing constant supervision.
• Organization: strong attention to detail and ability to manage editorial calendars and multiple deadlines in parallel.
• Tool Familiarity: experience with scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Later, Planoly) and editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Rush, Canva, or similar).
• Drive: a proactive attitude, curiosity about social trends, and the ability to propose new formats.

What we offer

• 6-month fixed-term contract
• Salary Range: RAL €25,000 - €30,000
• Meal vouchers (€7 per day) in accordance with internal company policy
