Job summary

John Crane in Solaro, Italy, is seeking a Site / Operations Quality Manager to lead the Quality function for the manufacturing site. You will manage a team of Quality Engineers, Inspectors and Welders, ensuring products and processes meet ISO 9001 and other regulatory requirements.

The role requires at least five years in Quality within manufacturing, with leadership potential and the ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Quality Inspection, Quality Engineering, welding processes or quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and manage the Quality team (Quality Engineers, Inspectors, Welders).
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (ISO 9001).
• Plan internal audits, external certification audits and customer audits.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Support supplier qualification and address supplier-related quality issues.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Monitor quality metrics and collaborate with leadership to improve site performance.
