Hitachi Energy is seeking a Site Based Electrical & Mechanical Supervisor (Building Services) to coordinate BS installation works at two locations in Italy. You will report to the Civil Construction Manager and integrate with the Site Management team, ensuring constructability and quality.

Required are a relevant degree and on-site supervision experience in MEP, fluency in English and Italian, and the ability to work in an international environment.

Competenze

Degree-qualified in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services or equivalent.
On-site experience in supervision of MEP (Building Services).
Able to work in international environment and communicate across teams.
Fluent in English and Italian; French is a plus.

Support BS engineering activities with constructability and lessons learned.
Review BS ITPs and ITRs and technical submissions from subcontractors.
Coordinate on-site BS installation activities with project schedule and safety requirements.
Assist Civil Construction Manager in detailed working plans with subcontractors and resources.
Ensure BS documentation is current and revisions are applied on site.
Monitor and inspect BS installation quality according to standards.
Lead or participate in site meetings with customers, subcontractors, and Hitachi Energy staff.
Prepare and coordinate BS red-marked drawings with subcontractors and engineering.

The opportunity

We are currently seeking a Site Based Electrical & Mechanical (Building Services) Supervisor to join our HVDC team at Hitachi Energy.The Site Based Building Services Supervisor will be coordinating and inspecting the Building Services (BS) installation works throughout its scope of delivery. The Building Services systems will include: LV Power Distribution, Lighting, HVAC, Domestic Water, BMS, Fire detection and Security Systems.

The Building Services Supervisor will report to the Civil Construction Manager and integrate to the Site Management team.

The role will be fully site based at our two locations in Italy.

How you will make an impact

Support the engineering activities related to Building Services (BS), by contributing with the construction perspective, lessons learnt and best practices, whilst ensuring its constructability
Review the BS ITPs and ITRs, as well as all technical submissions from sub contractors to ensure compliance with the respective design andspecifications
Coordinate all on-site BS installation activities in alignment with project delivery schedule/activities to assure cost-effective execution of project deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements
Support the Civil Construction Manager in making detailed workingplans with the Sub-Contractors of the BS scope installation activities, includingnecessary local resources, equipment, suppliers, and milestones
Ensure that all documentation related to the BS scope is revised and updated as necessary, and that the latest revisions are used forthe construction work on site
Monitor and inspect the BS installation activities, ensuring the required quality for the respective works according the standards and specifications
Lead or participate in site meetings related to the BS scope, and whenever required, with Customer, sub-contractors,and Hitachi Energy site personnel
Prepare and coordinate the BS related red marked drawings with the subcontractors and engineering

Your background

Degree-qualified (BEng, BSc, MSc, or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering, or a related field, or significant experience in an MEP (Building Services) supervisory role.
Relevant on-site experience
Ready to work in an international and multicultural work environment
Experience in industrial projects; in the energy sector is a plus
Great communication skills

Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken, is essential to effectively interact with a wide range of stakeholders. Proficiency in French would be considered an advantage.

The advertised salary of € 44.800 gross per year represents the entry point of the salary band for this role.

In addition to the base salary, this role includes a performance bonus and a results-based bonus, designed to reward both individual contribution and company performance.
