Fortidia, Milan, is seeking a Shipping Solutions Product Manager to accelerate growth of shipping solutions across the MBE Network. You will lead product strategy, go-to-market and partner management, coordinating with country Product Owners and cross-functional teams.

The role combines product management, commercial enablement and strategic partner management, reporting to the Product Director Shipping & Fulfillment. English required; Italian preferred in Milan.

Competenze

• 10+ years in Product Management or related roles in international shipping/logistics.
• Strong understanding of freight, cross-border regulations and e-commerce logistics.
• Experience coordinating with international teams and external partners.
• Proven ability to balance customer needs with technical feasibility and business objectives.
• Excellent written and spoken English; multilingual skills a plus.

For our Milan offices we are searching for a Shipping Solutions Product Manager to accelerate the growth, adoption and continuous evolution of Fortidia's shipping solutions across the MBE Network. Within the Product Marketing Department, this position supports the strategic development, commercial adoption and continuous evolution of a portfolio of shipping solutions across the Fortidia Countries. The Shipping Solutions Product Manager is a strategic role combining product management, commercial enablement and strategic partner management, acting as the link between business needs, technology partners and the Fortidia Network.

The initial product portfolio includes freight and pallet shipping, international wine shipping, and cross-border shipping solutions for duties & taxes calculation and guaranteed DDP services, with opportunities to expand responsibilities to additional shipping solutions over time.

The Shipping Solutions Product Manager will report to the Product Director Shipping & Fulfillment and will work closely with country Product Owners, international partners and cross-functional teams.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Product Management & Strategy: Support the definition and execution of the strategy for the assigned shipping solutions. Identify opportunities for product enhancement, commercial growth and service innovation across the MBE Network.
• Product Development & Go-to-Market: Coordinate product launches, commercial roll-outs and adoption initiatives across countries. Develop product guidelines, commercial toolkits and training materials to support Product Owners and MBE Centers in successfully offering the assigned services.
• Business Development & Network Support: Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned products, supporting Product Owners and MBE Centers in identifying business opportunities, preparing commercial proposals and increasing product adoption across the network.
• Strategic Partner Management: Manage relationships with strategic logistics and technology partners, coordinating new initiatives, product enhancements and continuous service improvements. Support supplier evaluation, issue resolution and the rollout of new capabilities.
• Product Performance & Continuous Improvement: Monitor product KPIs, revenues, adoption and operational performance. Analyze market feedback and identify initiatives to improve customer experience, operational efficiency and commercial results.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, IT, Legal and Learning & Development teams to ensure successful product positioning, communication and adoption across the network.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Product Management, International Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Cross-border Logistics, Transportation Services or similar international business environments.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Business & Product Skills: Strong understanding of shipping services and logistics solutions. Experience with freight transportation, customs procedures, duties & taxes management, international trade, e-commerce logistics or logistics technology platforms is considered a strong advantage. Commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer needs, operational feasibility and business objectives.
• Stakeholder & Project Management: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international teams, technology providers, logistics partners and MBE Network stakeholders. Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and managing external partners.
• Communication: Excellent ability to interact with senior stakeholders and multicultural teams; previous international exposure is highly valued.
• Languages: Excellent mastery of written and spoken English. Spanish, French or German would be considered a plus.
• Attitude: Customer and business oriented, Curious and proactive, Strong analytical mindset, Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment, Passionate about developing new products and driving innovation.
