Summary: The Shipment Specialist has a primary responsibility in shipment operations, packaging inventory management (receipt, stocking, replenishment, etc.), and shipping/receiving, including Lu177 Chloride receipt and final product packaging. The role also covers waste management (radioactive waste and special waste) relating to the packaging area.

About The Role

  • Coordinate shipping (including night shift), receiving, storage, and processing of goods.
  • Inspect and verify material, labels and documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain the rooms dedicated to the packaging in a tidy state using good housekeeping principles.
  • Operate all applicable radiation detection equipment.
  • Actively participate and support all site and team projects and initiatives relating to the packaging area.
  • Execute all assigned activities in compliance with internal procedures (HSE, GMP, others) and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support ordering and maintaining inventory of the packaging area with external suppliers, supply chain and other functions.
  • Promptly report any deviations to the Production Manager, Production Head, Radioprotection Expert and/or the HSE Manager.
  • Act as a backup for other production roles when needed.
  • Support and interact with the production supervisor during the entire batch process, including batch record review, aseptic set up, preparation, production and final equipment decontamination.

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma.
  • Previous experience in a shipment role preferred.
  • Willing to work in shifts, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Fluency in Italian; good knowledge of English.
