Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead the fabrication department's daily operations. You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and ensure safe, efficient production across three shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma, 5+ years in heavy manufacturing, and proficiency with blueprints and measuring tools, with Italian and English at B2. Competitive base salary €31,900–€42,000 gross per year.

About The Role

As a Shift Supervisor you will provide leadership to the daily operations of the fabrication department.

You will report to the Nuclear Fabrication Manager and be located in Monfalcone site.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members based on schedules and qualifications;
• Ensure safe use of equipment and materials; report and investigate safety issues by ARC;
• Communicate company updates and safety messages during weekly meetings;
• Conduct quality and standard work peer checks to ensure compliance;
• Implement training plans and maintain accurate documentation;
• Coordinate with planning and production teams to track progress and address schedule deviations;
• Monitor staffing needs, apply corrective actions, and support process continuity;
• Maintain workplace organization, production records, teamwork, and up-to-date employee training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma;
• At least five years of directly related experience in heavy manufacturing;
• Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and shop math;
• Proficiency with blue prints;
• Availability to work in three shifts: Monday to Friday – Shift 1: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, Shift 2: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Night Shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.
• Knowledge of Italian and English languages (min. B2 level).
