Job summary

Nutkao in Piedmont is seeking a dedicated Shift Supervisor to oversee the production department during the assigned shift, coordinating operators and plant staff to meet the production plan while ensuring quality and safety standards.

You will monitor process parameters, manage materials, ensure EHS compliance, collaborate with QC for sampling, resolve issues, and prepare shift handovers plus train staff for safety and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or University degree required.
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in the food sector.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus; English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate shift personnel, including plant and general operators.
• Ensure the achievement of the production schedule in compliance with product specifications.
• Monitor process parameters and control systems, taking prompt corrective action in the event of deviations or abnormalities.
• Ensure the proper allocation and efficient use of raw materials required for the production process.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with the QC Laboratory in sampling and testing activities, ensuring that the product meets the required specifications.
• Diagnose and promptly resolve operational issues and minor equipment malfunctions.
• Prepare detailed shift reports, ensuring clear and comprehensive handovers to the incoming Shift Supervisor and management team.
• Support, train and coach shift personnel on operating procedures, safety requirements and equipment usage.
• Contribute to the performance evaluation and development of shift personnel.

Definition of the Job

He/She will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient and continuous operation of the assigned department during the shift, coordinating and supporting operational teams to meet production objectives while ensuring product quality and adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

Specific requirements for the work position

Qualifications and prerequisites

• High school diploma or University degree.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the food sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (the knowledge of SAP will be considered as a plus).
• The knowledge of English will be considered as a plus.
