Ferrero in Pozzuolo Martesana (MI) is seeking an Engineering Graduate to join as Shift Operative Leader on a fixed-term basis to cover parental leave in the Production area. You will lead line activities, coordinate the line team, and ensure optimal use of materials, methods, labor and machinery on the shift.

You will contribute to line startup and downtime handling in collaboration with Maintenance, apply resource allocation criteria, and uphold safety standards for food, hygiene and workplace

About the Role:

We are currently looking for a passionate Engineering Graduate who want to join us as Shift Operative Leader at our plant in Pozzuolo Martesana (MI), for a parental leave substitution.

This is a unique opportunity to kick-start your career in Operations, where you will develop strong technical and leadership capabilities while contributing to the performance of one of our production plants.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Shift Operative Leader, reporting to the Production Unit Manager, you will manage various activities within the Production area.

In particular, you will support the execution of production activities, supporting the coordination of the line team in operational activities and ensuring the availability and the optimization of production factors on the shift (materials, methods, labour and machinery).

In this role, you will contribute to the preparation and start-up of the lines in your area, as well as their interruption, slowdown or breakdown in cooperation with the Maintenance team. You will manage the application of the criteria defined for allocating resources across production lines and the operational teams.

Ensuring that safety standards (both food/hygiene and workplace safety) are maintained on the lines will be one of your key activities, and you will also be responsible for supporting and developing the Continuous Improvement initiatives.

About You:

You will bring your Master's Degree in Engineering, combined with curiosity and a strong willingness to learn about the manufacturing industr.

You will contribute to the team's success through your understanding of production processes, as well as your interpersonal and leadership skills.

Your willingness to embrace international mobility will be a valuable asset, together with your genuine passion and curiosity for the food industry.

As an effective communicator, your fluency in both Italian and English will be essential to thrive in our international environment.

Throughout this fix term assignment, you will work on a central day schedule, gaining hands-on experience and a solid understanding of our manufacturing environment. Any potential future opportunities within Operations may involve shift-based responsibilities, reflecting the nature of frontline leadership roles in Production.

What We Offer:

The role is classified at Level 2° under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €36.910.

The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
