Ferrero, Alba Plant in Italy, seeks a Shift Maintenance Leader to oversee maintenance activities, intervention planning, and HR-related tasks. You will report to the Maintenance Production Unit Manager and coordinate shift teams while driving cost-effective maintenance programs.

The candidate will hold a Master’s in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics) with 1–2 years’ experience, strong maintenance knowledge, and leadership potential.

About the Role

We are currently looking for passionate Engineering Graduates for our positions as Shift Maintenance Leader based in our plants in Alba Plant! This will be the starting point of an exciting career in our dynamic and challenging Operations function, that will enable you to consolidate both technical and managerial skills for a brilliant path in Ferrero!

Main Responsibilities

As a Shift Maintenance Leader at Ferrero, you will manage various activities in the areas of Maintenance, Intervention Planning and Human Resources Management, reporting to the Maintenance Production Unit Manager. Covering this position, you will coordinate shifts maintenance teams, support interventions and collaborate in the realization of new projects. You will be responsible for defining, organizing and managing the realization of periodical revision programs, ordinary, extraordinary and soft interventions, while optimizing relative costs in order to achieve production results, both in qualitative and quantitative terms. You will be responsible for the predictive maintenance scheduling and evaluating on-call requests and prioritising them, as well as ensuring the correct application of safety standards and safe behaviour. You will also be in charge of the budgeting activity, identifying all indications related to resource needs (personnel, spare parts, external service companies).

About You

You will bring your university Master's Degree background in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics) and eventually some initial experience of one or two years in other Manufacturing companies. You will contribute to the success of the team thanks to your good understanding of maintenance processes and interpersonal and management skills. Your desire for international mobility will be a great asset for us, together with your true passion and curiosity for the Food sector. As a good communicator, your fluency in both Italian and English will be key to gain a wide intercultural competence. As a focal point in the maintenance process, you will work on shifts.

What We Offer

The role is classified at Level 2° under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is €36.910. The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
