Job summary

Nordex Mediterranean region is hiring for field service technicians in Sardegna, Italy. The role involves electrical and mechanical tasks, safe operation on turbine sites, and regular travel with night stays as needed.

You will perform repairs, inspections, and coordination with service teams. Strong teamwork and readiness for training are essential; English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical and/or mechanical education.
• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems is valued, but it’s not mandatory.
• Teamwork, collaboration and willingness to take over responsibility.
• Willing to travel on regular basis, including nights away from home.
• Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in house database and workload management systems.
• Readiness for training.
• Able to work in high altitudes and to climb every day some of our turbine.
• Good English language skills (read, write and speak fluently).

Responsibilities

• Keep all health & safety related instructions and guidelines.
• Work safely for material and personnel.
• Analyse defects with phone-contact to Service Coordinator.
• Autonomously simple repairs of turbines, troubleshooting and faultfinding.
• Carry out planned maintenance-/inspection-activities with subcontractors.
• Fill in reports and checklists to inform Local Operation Manager.
• Check inventory of spare parts stock and be responsible for material on site.
• Monitor service reports and steer service process to book expenses correctly.
