Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. in Monselice, Italy, is seeking a Service Project Manager to lead small, low-complexity projects ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards, HSE requirements, and schedule targets.

You will manage costs, invoicing, and cash flow while coordinating with internal and external suppliers and serving as a primary customer contact. PMI/PMP and SAP knowledge are pluses; 2–3 years of PM experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (preferably Electrical or Management).
• Excellent knowledge of English and Italian.
• Good problem solving and communication skills.
• PMI/PMP certification is a plus, not mandatory.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Previous project management experience of 2–3 years is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the project follows health, safety and environmental policies and plan projects per contractual scope and HSE requirements.
• Monitor and control project progress, resources, invoicing, cost, expenses and cash flow.
• Identify, qualify, quantify and manage risk; pursue opportunities.
• Capture, analyze and share lessons learned throughout the project.
• Ensure formal closure of the project, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgement.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure services, materials and equipment from internal and external suppliers; support negotiations and changes.
• Act as key customer contact and escalation point for project issues; maintain stakeholder relationships and communication.
• Define project plans with Project Controls for scope, finances, schedule and risk management.
