Genpact is seeking a Service Delivery Leader for Insurance - P&C Underwriting to drive end-to-end underwriting service delivery across pre-issuance and post-issuance processes. You will partner with the client CFO to ensure operational alignment and oversee a large team of underwriting professionals in a global, hybrid setup.

You will collaborate with RPA and Six Sigma teams to push efficiency, standardization, and transformational programs, while mentoring staff and driving client satisfaction

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree prerequisites in actuarial science, economics, finance, or risk management and insurance; master's in statistics is a plus.
• Professional certifications in underwriting or property/casualty are desirable.

Job Description

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end underwriting service delivery for a leading insurance provider, covering pre-issuance (rating, quoting, binders) and post-issuance processes (policy issuance, financial/non-financial endorsements, cancellations).

Partner with the client Underwriting CFO to ensure operational alignment and excellence.

Function as an overlay to domain specialists, providing operational rigor and process value for first-time outsourcing engagements.

Deliver SLAs and KPIs across the underwriting portfolio spanning three U.S. geographies, with no onshore retained staff.

Directly manage ~200 underwriting professionals handling pre- and post-issuance processes.

Maintain operational stability during quarterly and annual renewal surges, demonstrating agility, client handling, and people management skills.

Drive transformation and standardization initiatives to converge delivery under a center of excellence framework.

Serve as primary point of contact for the client’s underwriting centre of excellence in India.

Collaborate with internal RPA and Six Sigma teams to implement efficiency and digital initiatives.

Mentor underwriting professionals and support career development within the team.
