Job summary

Pennock is seeking a dedicated Search Engine Optimization Specialist to join the team to support five clients across DTC and CPG brands. You will implement, optimize, and analyze on- and off-page SEO, turning data into actionable insights and driving measurable results.

You will collaborate with paid media and content teams, conduct keyword research, monitor performance, and report on progress, while staying curious in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of SEO experience.
• Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools.
• Previous agency experience.
• Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis.
• Analytical and data storytelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop optimization strategies that increase search engine results rankings for our clients.
• Research SEO keywords to use throughout websites and marketing materials.
• Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in our SEO efforts.
• Lead competitive and gap analysis of other companies.
• Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO performance.
• Collaborate with paid media team members and clients to execute programs.
• Write compelling and high-quality website content, including meta tags and in-line copy.
• Develop and execute internal linking and backlink strategies for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
