Speechify is seeking an accomplished Windows desktop engineer to lead design and architecture for our native Windows applications. You will work across WinUI, C#, XAML, and occasional C++ to deliver robust, accessible software.

You will own feature development end-to-end, set architecture direction, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product and UX to drive a high-quality Windows platform used by millions.

Competenze

• 3+ years in Windows desktop development using Windows App SDK/WinUI and C#.
• Deep understanding of interop between managed and native code.
• Proven track record shipping production desktop apps with performance and accessibility focus.
• Strong experience with accessibility APIs and inclusive software practices.
• Solid fundamentals in OOP, design patterns, data structures, and multi-threading.

Mansioni

• Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop apps using Windows App SDK and WinUI.
• Define best practices for code architecture, performance, memory usage, and cross-version compatibility.
• Drive accessibility efforts: UI Automation, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA to shape UI/UX and long-term roadmap for Windows platform.
• Own feature lifecycle from conception through release and maintenance.
• Diagnose complex bugs, performance bottlenecks, and rendering issues; propose solutions.
