Hitachi Rail is seeking a Senior Train System Engineer to join the Engineering Department in Pistoia, Italy. You will handle a wide range of activities from electrical architectures to TCMS integration, traction curves, and driving simulations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 5 years in railway systems, familiarity with RAMS and on-board regulations, and proficiency in Italian and English. International collaboration and travel may be required.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Vehicle Transportation Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of Italian language mandatory, good English (C1)
• At least 5 years in railway industry as Train Systems Engineer
• Knowledge of RAMS concepts advantageous
• Experience with vehicle architectures and TCMS integration
• Familiarity with office tools (Word, Excel) and design software
