Lightsource bp is seeking a Commercial Engineer to join its Italy-focused team, delivering technical support across early development to construction for solar, BESS and wind projects. You will engage in acquisitions, due diligence, energy yield assessments, and LCOE optimization in collaboration with internal and external partners.
You will lead design work, EPC contract appendices, and coordinate technical advisors while supporting project managers through construction, PAC and FAC.
Competenze
- Masters in Renewable Energy or related field preferable.
- Experience in Solar PV, BESS and Wind projects in the region.
- Knowledge of PPAs and grid connection agreements.
Mansioni
- Support Project Development and acquisitions in Italy and across EMEA.
- Lead Technical Due Diligence and manage internal/external service providers.
- Undertake Energy Yield Assessments (EYA).
- Undertake LCOE optimization and analysis for new projects.
- Support assessment of new technologies (modules, inverters, structures, WTGs, BESS).
- Lead Basic Design development including layouts and SLDs.
