Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is seeking a Principal Supplier Quality Engineer to perform supplier audits, oversight, and QA program development for ASME B&PV materials and NSSS components. The role requires on-site presence three days a week in Monfalcone, Italy, with relocation support for eligible candidates.

You will lead supplier quality efforts, ensure compliance with NRC and Westinghouse standards, and travel to supplier sites up to 50% monthly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in supplier quality or similar role.
• Experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100 / ASME NQA-1 quality systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 40–50% monthly to supplier sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier surveillance and oversight plans.
• Resolve supplier quality issues impacting product quality.
• Lead assessments to verify QA systems meet NRC/Westinghouse standards.
• Prepare QA documents and certification records per codes and standards.
• Write and maintain QA plans for nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
