Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead Subsea XT technology development. You will generate new designs, create detailed drawings and BOMs, and drive multi-disciplinary collaboration across teams.

In this role you will manage plans, budgets, risks, and stakeholders, provide technical guidance, mentor engineers, and push patent-worthy innovations while tracking market trends. Chartered Engineer is desirable.

Competenze

• Proven experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems.
• 3D modeling and detailed drawings with CAD software.
• GD&T and Design for Manufacture principles.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects with stakeholders.
• Chartered Engineer desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of Subsea XT technologies
• Generate new designs, detailed drawings, and bill of materials
• Manage plan, budget, risks, resources, and stakeholder/change management
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews for engineering deliverables
• Coach and mentor other engineers and designers in a diverse team
• Create new patents and technology while conducting analyses on market trends

Requirements

• Proven experience in Design Engineering for Subsea Production Systems
• In-depth understanding of engineering and real-life product transformation
• Experience with 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software
• Deep understanding of GD&T and Design for Manufacture principles
• Direct ownership and accountability for managing multiple stakeholders
• Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
• Deep knowledge of CAD tools CREO(PRO-E) and TeamCenter / PLM Engineering packages
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferably Mechanical / Industrial / Petroleum
• Willingness and desire for personal development
• Chartered Engineer desirable
