Jobtailor is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design mechanical systems, create BOMs, and support cross-functional teams in industrial automation projects. You will define safety requirements, validate machines, and collaborate with software, testing, and assembly departments across international environments.

• Design mechanical systems in compliance with project timelines and company standards;
• Prepare and maintain machine bills of materials (BOMs) and related documentation according to company procedures.
• Create and update machine or subassembly bills of materials in accordance with internal processes and guidelines.
• Contribute to the definition of safety requirements and the validation of machines.
• Collaborate closely with other departments within the division, particularly Software Engineering, Testing & Commissioning, and Assembly.
• Provide technical support to the After-Sales team for troubleshooting activities and the implementation of new customer requests.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Technical Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
• At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering departments within industrial automation environments.
• Strong knowledge of 3D and 2D CAD systems and PLM management tools.
• Engineering knowledge in areas such as materials, kinematics, tolerances, heat and surface treatments, plastics, and servo actuators.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to interact with customers to understand prototype development requirements and participate in design reviews within international environments.
