Arethusa is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support the Siziano location in achieving Environmental, Health and Safety objectives. The role focuses on ensuring plant EHS compliance and fostering safety awareness through Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in EHS within production environments, strong MS Office skills, and fluency in English and Italian. Knowledge of Lean principles is a plus. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Competenze

• BS Degree in a technical field, preferably EHS.
• 1-3 years of experience in EHS roles in production environments of medium complexity.
• Italian mothertongue, fluent English.
• Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of OS and QHSE-related software.
• Nice to have knowledge of Lean principles.

POSITION SUMMARY

With direct supervision, supports all aspects of the Siziano location goals and objectives in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).

The role will ensure that the plants meet all the EHS requirements.

The focus of the activities will be on the continuous improvement of safety awareness for all employees using BBS and liaising with external and with the support of internal functions to achieve set goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BS Degree in a technical field, preferably EHS (extensive experience with certificate programs, seminars and CEU’s or associates degree possibly acceptable)
• 1-3 years of experience in EHS roles gained in production environments of medium complexity.
• Italian mothertongue, fluent English.
• Proficiency in MS Office package and understanding of operating systems and softwares linked to QHSE.
• Nice to have knowledge of Lean principles.

The salary will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experience.
