Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Regional EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety performance across multiple construction and engineering projects throughout Italy, based in Milan with regional travel.

You will drive EHS standards, support project teams, and promote a strong safety culture in complex environments, ensuring ISO 45001/14001 compliance and robust incident investigations. This is a senior leadership role with strategic impact and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years’ EHS experience within construction, engineering, MEP or related industries.
• Senior EHS leadership experience, ideally overseeing multiple projects or locations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and applicable construction safety regulations.
• Proven experience in audits, incident investigations and EHS management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional IOSH membership would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across Italy as required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with relevant Italian health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Develop and deliver training, safety initiatives and improvement programmes.
• Support tenders, prequalification submissions and client engagements.
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities and key stakeholders.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for someone who can drive EHS standards across a regional portfolio, support project teams, and promote a strong safety culture across complex construction environments, including mission‑critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support EHS teams across multiple projects throughout Italy.
• Monitor regional EHS performance, KPIs, audits, incidents and compliance.
• Ensure consistent implementation of EHS management systems across all projects.
• Lead serious incident investigations and oversee corrective and preventative actions.
• Conduct regional audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement.
• Advise senior management, project teams, clients and contractors on EHS matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.
• 10+ years’ EHS experience within construction, engineering, MEP or related industries.
• Previous experience in a senior EHS leadership role, ideally overseeing multiple projects or locations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and applicable construction safety regulations.
• Proven experience in audits, incident investigations and EHS management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional membership of IOSH or an equivalent body would be advantageous.
• Willingness to travel across Italy as required.

Location:

Milan, Italy, with regional travel.

Salary:

€90,000–€110,000 per annum, plus additional package benefits, depending on experience.
