Sysdig is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build and operate the identity and account services that power authentication, authorization and the user/team directory across the platform. You will contribute to scalable, highly available services used by multiple engineering teams and shape onboarding for cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).

You will participate in on-call rotations and drive end-to-end SaaS delivery with a remote-first team, leveraging Go or Java and modern data

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Java, and experience with Postgres or other relational DBs.
• Experience with distributed, highly available services and SaaS apps.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and how to leverage them to improve workflows.
• Knowledge of SSO integration is a plus.
• Ability to work in a remote-first, distributed team and manage multiple priorities.

• Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, you will design, build and operate the identity and account services — authentication, authorization and user/team directory — that every other Sysdig engineering team depends on
• Build scalable, highly available, distributed and performant platform services used by multiple engineering teams
• Build and maintain the cross-product capabilities the team owns, including automations, analytics system and ticketing integration
• Own and evolve the best-in-class onboarding experience for connecting cloud provider accounts (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI), working closely with Product, Frontend, Design, and QE.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to address any urgent issues
• 5+ years of professional working experience as a Software Engineer designing and shipping distributed, highly available services.
• Strong proficiency in Go or Java and hands-on experience with Postgres or another relational database and messaging system (such as NATS).
• Experience with AI coding agents (Claude or others) and a proactive approach to learning how to leverage them to improve workflows.
• Ability to move between high-priority projects and tasks in a distributed, remote-first team.
• Experience with SaaS applications and delivering large software projects end-to-end
• Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) integration is a plus.

The annual compensation range for this full-time position is between €54,000 and €68,000. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
The national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) applied by Sysdig is CCNL Terziario-Confcommercio.
