Sysdig seeks a Senior Open Source Engineer in Ravenna, Emilia Romagna, Italy, to advance Falco and OSS initiatives powering cloud threat detection. You will contribute to core technologies, engage with users, and own releases while driving automation.

You bring 5+ years as a Software Engineer in cloud native or security, proficiency in C/C++, Golang and Rust, and a track record of open source contributions and strong collaboration.

• 5 years as Software Engineer in cloud native or security domains.
• Proficient in C/C++, Golang and Rust with open source contributions.
• Experience with Linux, eBPF, containers and Kubernetes; strong analytical skills and clear communication.

Mansioni

• Develop new technology for Falco, OSS Sysdig and related libraries.
• Contribute to and possibly maintain open source projects; fix reported bugs and streamline releases.

You’ll engage with users, maintain releases, and drive automation, while sharing knowledge through talks and blogs. This role puts you at the intersection of security, open source, and cloud-native technologies. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to accelerate secure innovation in the cloud.
