Hitachi Rail is seeking a Signalling Configuration Engineer based in Turin, Italy, to join our fast-paced team. The role covers data collection, configuration and testing of signalling subsystems, with responsibilities spanning from input data capture to production checks and validation.

You will work across project teams, travel to railway installations in Italy and abroad, and contribute to delivering reliable configurations while complying with company processes. English proficiency required.

Competenze

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Good knowledge of English (written & spoken).
• Ability to prepare technical specifications and papers.
• Experience with Windows and Office is advantageous.

Mansioni

• Data collection and capture from scheme plans and other sources using configuration tools.
• Contribute to the delivery of sub-systems configurations (input data collection, data preparation or data capture, production check).
• Ensure that input data, configuration documents and executable files are issued in accordance with company processes.
• Execute the assigned integration lab tests or portions of the tests.
• Correct defects in configurations found during Validation and site testing.
