Job summary

Cap4 Lab is seeking a Senior Salesforce Technical Consultant to drive architectural design and hands-on development across Salesforce projects in Italy. You will bridge complex business requirements with scalable technical solutions and guide implementation from conception to deployment.

You will mentor junior developers, ensure secure, high-quality deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-growing consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on, complex Salesforce project delivery in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security architectures, and Apex/LWC.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP/CRM/legacy systems via APIs.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent collaboration in an international, multicultural environment.

To support our vision and scale our delivery capabilities, we are looking for a Senior Salesforce Technical Consultant to join our team in Italy.

In this role, you won't just write code; you will act as a driving force behind our technical evolution. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable, elegant technical architectures, helping our clients unlock their full digital potential while positioning Cap4 Lab as a premier partner in the ecosystem.

KEY Responsibilities:

• Architectural Input & Solution Design: Lead the technical design, blueprinting, and implementation of scalable, high-performance Salesforce applications tailored to complex business ecosystem needs.
• Hands-on Core Development: Build custom applications, robust workflows, and advanced process automations using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and modern declarative tools.
• Enterprise Integration: Design, build, and maintain secure, high-speed integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs (leveraging internal MuleSoft synergies where applicable).
• Client-Facing Advisory: Partner directly with cross-functional client stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, IT) to extract business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications.
• Technical Mentorship: Act as a technical leader within the Italian hub; mentor junior and mid-level developers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering best practices.
• Quality Assurance & DevOps: Oversee unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and continuous deployment pipelines to guarantee high-quality, bug-free deliverables.
• Innovation & Best Practices: Stay at the forefront of the Salesforce ecosystem, assessing new releases, features, and industry trends to continuously optimize Cap4 Lab's internal frameworks.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on, relevant experience successfully delivering complex Salesforce projects in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a strictly related technical field.
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of the Salesforce data model, advanced sharing settings, and security architectures. Expert proficiency in Apex, LWC, and object-oriented programming design patterns.
• Integration Expertise: Solid track record of connecting Salesforce with third-party ERPs, CRMs, or legacy systems via APIs.
• Consultative Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a natural ability to troubleshoot complex technical roadblocks and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, a team-first attitude, and the fluency to thrive in an international, multicultural environment.

Core Salesforce Certifications

• To maintain Cap4 Lab's high-quality standards, candidates should hold a well-rounded portfolio of active certifications. We expect the successful profile to possess at least 3 of the following market-standard credentials:
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDI): Essential for verifying advanced programmatic capabilities and apex design patterns on the Lightning Platform.
• Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder: Demonstrates deep capability in designing custom applications using declarative features.
• (Foundational requirement) Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform Developer I.
