Sicilsat Communications in Sicily seeks a Senior RF Engineer to join our satellite ground station team in Catania/Pedara. You will design, analyze, and validate RF/microwave systems and feeds while collaborating with engineers to maintain high reliability of our assets.

The ideal candidate has a degree in telecom/electronics, proven RF experience, and strong HFSS or equivalent tool skills. This on-site, full-time role offers hands-on challenges and opportunities to advance in satellite

We are hiring a Senior RF Engineer!

At Sicilsat Communications, we are continuing to grow and are looking for an experienced, passionate Senior RF Engineer to join our team. If you have a solid background in radio frequency, microwave engineering, and satellite ground station systems, this is the right opportunity for you.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, simulate, and test microwave components and RF systems (such as satellite antenna feeds, directional couplers, and waveguides).
• Perform advanced modeling and optimization of components using electromagnetic simulation software.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to signal propagation and hardware integration within our projects.
• Collaborate directly with the technical team to maintain the high-quality standards of our satellite communication systems.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven track record working as an RF Engineer.
• Excellent proficiency in 3D electromagnetic simulation software (such as Ansys HFSS or equivalent tools).
• Solid expertise in microwave engineering and RF component design.
• Strong ability to work in a team, analyze complex data, and propose innovative engineering solutions.

Position Details:

• Location: On-site (Catania/Pedara area). Note: This position requires physical presence at our headquarters;
• Contract: Full-time. Salary and classification will be commensurate with the candidate's actual experience.
