Responsibilities
  • DSP Algorithm Development: Design, simulation and optimization of digital signal processing algorithms for communication systems using MATLAB/Simulink (filters, modulation/demodulation, synchronization, equalization).
  • Statistical Signal Processing: Development and validation of statistical estimation algorithms (e.g., DOA estimation, SNR estimation, spectrum estimation).
  • HW/SW Collaboration: Work closely with FPGA and embedded software engineers to define algorithm specifications and interface requirements.
  • System Validation & Testing: Perform system‑level simulations to verify performance against project requirements and identify potential improvements.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical reports, simulation models and automated testing scripts to support the development process.
Essential Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
  • Proven experience in MATLAB/Simulink for DSP simulations.
  • Strong understanding of digital communication principles (modulation, coding, synchronization, filtering).
  • Solid background in statistical signal processing and parameter estimation (e.g., DOA, SNR, PSD).
  • Experience in algorithm optimization, verification and validation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team with FPGA and embedded software engineers.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Python for simulation automation and testing.
  • Knowledge of RF or satellite communication protocols.
  • Basic understanding of FPGA/RTL constraints to support HW implementation.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Prior experience in system‑level simulations for communication systems.
