Job summary

Raven is a proprietary crypto market-making and high-frequency trading firm. The role centers on building and operating low-latency, real-time platforms and observability across multiple venues and regions.

You will profile, optimize, and rewrite critical paths in Rust or C++, ensure correctness under high load, and participate in on-call rotations from Milan or Sofia. Fluency in English is essential; a degree is not required.

Qualifications

• Built and operated internal platforms or observability systems in real-time production environments.
• Profiling a system you did not write and making it faster without breaking consumers.
• Comfort with heterogeneous sources of truth across exchange, on-chain and prediction markets.
• Deep Rust or modern C++ proficiency.
• Experience with time-series storage and scalable schemas.
• Fluent English in a multinational team.
• No degree or certifications required; HFT pedigree welcome.

Responsibilities

• Own firm-wide live visibility from all venues and internal systems, balances and positions in real time.
• Maintain fast write/read paths; ensure correctness and low latency across systems.
• Develop and maintain core and shared infrastructure with service discovery, configuration and state management.
• Optimize slow parts of code and rewrite hot paths without breaking consumers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and keep systems healthy.
