Crealis Group is seeking a Senior R&D Engineer for its Capsules business unit in Bodio Lomnago, Italy. You will drive product innovation and oversee disciplined R&D activities across a global industrial footprint.

Responsibilities include leading projects from concept to validation, applying stage-gate processes, and coordinating cross-functional validation plans with Operations, Quality, and other teams.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5-9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in product innovation and development projects.
• Experience with multi-component industrial products.
• Fluent in English and Italian; other languages are a plus.

Your Mission

Drive product innovation and ensure disciplined, execution-focused R&D activities - delivering robust, scalable solutions across our global industrial footprint.

What You'll Do

• Lead innovation and customer-driven development projects from concept to industrial validation
• Apply structured Innovation & Product Development processes (stage-gate approach)
• Ensure clear documentation, milestone tracking, and project progression
• Evaluate industrial feasibility (materials, processes, product solutions)
• Coordinate validation plans (mechanical, environmental, durability testing)
• Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation strategies
• Support root cause analysis when needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Operations teams
• Ensure alignment across multiple international sites
• Provide structured reporting to Group R&D

Who You Are

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, or Chemical Engineering
• 5-9 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven experience in product innovation and development projects
• Experience with multi-component industrial products
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and international environments
• Fluent in English and Italian, other languages would be an asset
