Job summary

GEDON™ | Precision Search for Complex Construction seeks a Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial activities on a major complex facility project in Milan, Italy. You will join an international delivery team and manage pre-contract through final account, focusing on CSA works and strong cost control.

From relocation support to living allowances, the role offers international exposure and career development within a contractor delivering high-value schemes across Europe.

Qualifications

• Experience as quantity surveyor in medium-to-large scale contractor
• Knowledge of CSA (civil, structural & architectural) background preferred
• Experience on large, complex projects; pharma/life sciences or data centres beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial aspects of a major complex facility project from pre-contract through to final account
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, valuations and cash flow projections
• Procure and administer subcontract packages, with focus on CSA works
• Manage change control, variations and claims
• Advise the project team on contractual and commercial risk
• Build effective relationships with clients, consultants and the local supply chain
• Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team
