Job summary

Schumacher & Co. is a leading interior design firm with a global footprint fully remote in Europe. We are seeking a hands-on Senior Quantitative Analyst, Portfolio to lead analytics for SKU productivity and capital allocation across a portfolio of 20,000+ SKUs.

You will report to the Sr. Director of AI & Data Insights and collaborate with the CEO daily. The role requires deep statistical modeling expertise, strong SQL/Python, and experience in presenting insights to executives.

Qualifications

2-5 years in data science or analytics in SKU-driven businesses.
Strong grounding in statistics or operations research (regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis).
Proficient SQL and Python, with Snowflake experience.
Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders and executives.
Independent, proactive executor who ships high-impact work.
Curiosity and depth in SKU-level economics (margin, inventory, lifecycle).
Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to automate repetitive analysis.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with CEO and Product Strategy to address strategic questions with analytics.
Use statistical methods to identify drivers of productivity and guide portfolio strategy.
Control for confounders like stock-outs and seasonality in analyses.
Identify and correct data quality issues in source systems and downstream analytics.
Present findings clearly to executive audiences.
