Baker Hughes Company is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Climate Technology Solutions (CTS) Extended Scope. You will lead complex EPC projects, drive cross‑functional teams, and ensure execution aligns with contractual commitments.

The role requires engineering, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage project financials, risks, and stakeholders. International travel is expected, and new energy solutions experience is a plus. Flexible remote/onsite work patterns are supported.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and extensive experience in project management for industrial plants.
• Fluent English with strong oral and written communication at executive level.
• Willingness to travel internationally; turbomachinery knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive a project team and coordinate with support functions to deliver within contractual commitments.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders and navigate challenges to opportunities.
• Ensure project financials, on-time delivery, and quality meet targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage reporting through all lifecycle stages.
• Develop execution models for large EPC projects, including NPD content and external partnerships.
• Cover all project development phases from conceptual to FEED.
• Prepare DORs and foster collaboration with partners and harmonized processes.

Joining the Extended Scope team, you will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of complex projects, innovative products, related activities and resources. As a Senior Project Manager – CTS Extended Scope, you will be responsible for:

• Driving your team and engaging all supporting functions as needed to smoothly execute in compliance with the contractual commitments
• Being the to-go person for project stakeholders and a guide to get opportunities out of challenges and unpredictable changes
• Making sure that project financials, on‑time delivery and quality excellence meet and exceed targets
• Addressing and resolving any project related matters, from reporting status at all levels, to risks mitigation, to project close out.
• Acting as innovator, creating execution models suitable of large EPC projects, including NPD content and partnerships with external companies
• Leading efforts to create suitable execution models of unprecedented large EPC projects, including NPD content and partnerships with external companies.
• Covering all project development phases including conceptual and FEEDs.
• Working to prepare suitable DORs for effectively working with partners, orchestrating collaboration initiatives with third parties and developing new processes to harmonize systems and procedures

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a degree in engineering and substantial experience in Project Management related to industrial plants and power generation.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English and master presentations at executive level.
• Have an entrepreneurial attitude and display solid behavioural, influencing and leadership skills.
• Be proficient in managing project financials, including revenues, contribution margin and cash.
• Have a thorough knowledge of T&Cs glossary and dynamics, including contractual provisions, risks, claims and remedies management.
• Have good background in turbomachinery.
• New energy solutions project management is considered a plus.
• Be able to travel internationally to visit customers or Baker Hughes locations.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 53,000 To 99,000. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position.
