Job summary

Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc is seeking a Senior Project Finance Analyst to join our team in Italy. You will build and audit financial models across PV, BESS and wind assets, calibrate revenue drivers, and run scenarios to inform investment decisions at SPV and portfolio levels.

You will also support M&A activity, financing negotiations, and the closing of transactions, coordinating with our Asset Manager, Legal and Group Finance to ensure value creation and risk control.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Engineering (Management). Master’s or professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACCA) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and audit financial models for projects across development, construction and operation (PV, BESS and wind) from project level to SPV/portfolio.
• Model technology-specific revenue and cost drivers: merchant and PPA prices, capacity-market revenues, and BESS-specific factors.
• Run sensitivity and scenario analyses and prepare investment papers with IRR/NPV/payback analyses.
• Maintain budgets, business plans and long-term forecasts for Italian assets with coordination with the Asset Manager.
• Support the acquisition of authorised development projects and SPVs with valuation, bid mechanics and earn-outs.
• Coordinate financial due diligence with advisors and review permits, grid connection, land and contractual risk.
• Support negotiation of SPA and related agreements, and manage closing and post-closing financial workstreams.
• Monitor Italian market and financing trends and provide financial inputs to Group Finance.
