Wood is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to join its Projects business line, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in chemical, petrochemical and energy industries. The position is based in Corsico (Milan) with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, you will coordinate engineering disciplines, supervise project engineers in Milan and the Global Execution Center, and interface with clients

Competenze

• Educated to degree level in mechanical, chemical or energy engineering.
• Proven experience in the role.
• Self-motivation, a proactive outlook and good communication skills.
• Ability to technically deal with other disciplines and to coordinate medium / large engineering teams.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Availability to be relocated abroad is essential.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the engineering disciplines and control / forecast activities and deliverables against schedule.
• Coordinate and supervise Project Engineers, both in Milan and Global Execution Center (India).
• Work with HSE, procurement, subcontracting, project control, construction and estimate departments.
• Interface with Client for technical matters and attend project reviews.
• Prepare erection requisitions for mechanical works.
• Possibly be assigned to construction site as Senior Field Project Engineer.
