Jacobs is seeking a design coordination professional to support the Engineering Manager and Project Manager in delivering industrial projects. You will help plan technical activities, facilitate information flow among Jacobs teams, clients, and vendors, and maintain critical design documents.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 5+ years’ experience in industrial design, with familiarity in Pharma, Data Center, and Logistics sectors.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering.
• Min 5 years of experience in design of industrial projects.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical, Data Center, Buildings and Logistics would be an asset.
• Knowledge of technical and commercial obligations.
• Experience in setting, development, evaluation and implementation of technical specifications and documentation for RfQ.
• Experience in technical bid analysis and support to procurement.
• Coordination skills and ability to motivate team members to defined goals.
• Problem solving attitude.
• Accountability on schedule and costs.
• Knowledge of local and international technical codes.

Mansioni

• Assist Engineering Manager/Project Manager in technical management to meet cost, schedule, performance and quality targets.
• Plan and coordinate project technical activities; ensure flow of information across stakeholders.
• Maintain the Project Deliverables List as a live document.
• Support Project Controls in tracking design progress and coordinate disciplines.
• Coordinate and update design deliverables (P&IDs, layouts, DHSE, GMP) for consistency.
• Facilitate key project meetings (Design Reviews, 3D Model Reviews, HAZOP, GMP Reviews).
• Manage P&IDs (master copy) and monitor their control.
• Support changes (TCR log, change notices) in collaboration with teams.
• Coordinate engineering activities with Procurement to meet targets and bid alignment.
• Assist in corrective actions related to design issues with Engineering/QC/PM.
• If needed, act as Field Project Engineer supporting Construction/CQV.
• Report to Manager of Design Coordination and Project Manager when on projects.
