Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer based in Italy to own core product surfaces from concept to production, blending product design with frontend engineering and design systems.

You will build reusable primitives, contribute to an open-source component library, and work with AI-assisted tools to accelerate ideas to production. This remote-first, async role emphasizes craft and collaboration.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a product designer who has evolved into design engineering and owns complex product areas from problem definition through launch.
• Strong craft in product design and frontend engineering with HTML, CSS, TypeScript and React.
• Ability to independently turn concepts into polished, working implementations.
• Experience designing and engineering custom UI components and primitives.
• Deep expertise in headless primitive composition and open-source component systems.

Mansioni

• Own core product surfaces from concept through production, including booking flows and scheduling primitives.
• Translate problems into high-quality designs, prototypes, and production-ready frontend components.
• Build and test prototypes using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and v0.
• Deliver production-ready components for engineers with accessibility and correct semantics.
