RINA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Plant Engineering Division, with offices in Genoa, Rozzano, or Fano. You will lead process design, optimization, and project execution across energy projects to ensure safe and efficient operation of assets.

You will provide technical leadership, review engineering deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and support proposals and scope definition for Oil & Gas, LNG, Hydrogen, CCS, and power generation initiatives.

Competenze

• +8 years of experience in process engineering within the energy industry.
• Strong technical expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) and engineering tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Lead and execute process engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept studies to FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and operational support.
• Develop and review key process engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, heat & material balances, process datasheets, and operating philosophies.
• Perform and supervise process simulations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, flare and relief system studies, and other design analyses using industry-standard software.
• Ensure all process engineering deliverables comply with project requirements, codes, standards, procedures, and client specifications.
• Act as the technical focal point for process engineering within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate process engineers.
• Lead process engineering activities for energy transition projects (Oil & Gas, LNG, Hydrogen, CCS, Power).
• Support proposal preparation, scope definition, man-hour estimation, and technical bid evaluations.
