RINA is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join our Genoa-based office with potential locations in Rozzano or Fano within the Plant Engineering Division. You will lead process engineering activities across energy projects, guiding design, optimization, and project execution to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong expertise in process simulations (Aspen HYSYS), and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Competenze

• Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
• +8 years of experience in process engineering within the energy industry.
• Proven track record of leading process design and optimization projects.
• Strong technical expertise in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) and engineering tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good Italian communication skills and fluent in English languages

Mansioni

• Lead and execute process engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept studies to FEED, detailed engineering, commissioning, and operational support.
• Develop and review key process engineering deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, Heat & Material Balances, Process Datasheets, and Operating Philosophies.
• Perform and supervise process simulations, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, flare and relief system studies, and other design analyses using industry-standard software tools.
• Ensure all process deliverables comply with project requirements, codes, standards, procedures, and client specifications.
• Act as technical focal point and provide guidance, coaching to junior engineers.
• Support proposal preparation, scope definition, and technical bid evaluations.
