Job summary

Exyte GmbH in Italy seeks a Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering for pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities, from concept through commissioning and qualification. You will act as a technical expert, drive innovative process solutions, and ensure GMP compliance.

You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, mass balances, and technical specifications; coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage vendor evaluations and bid assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of process engineering experience in pharma/biotech/life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and engineering of pharma facilities per GMP and industry standards.
• Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, mass balances, and technical specs.
• Coordinate process engineering with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership.
• Manage evaluations of vendors and bid assessments for process equipment and systems.
• Conduct process risk assessments and ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and start-up activities.
