Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories in Milano is seeking a senior electrical engineer to lead complex projects across protection, automation, design, studies, and commissioning. You will drive technical direction, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure successful project delivery.

You will develop proposals, mentor staff, and collaborate with customers to meet safety and quality standards. Occasional international travel up to 25% is expected as projects span global clients.

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of applied experience with electric power systems or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of protection and control, integration, and communications applications.
• Ability to lead project teams and manage scope, schedule, and budget.
• Willingness to travel 25% domestically and internationally.

Mansioni

• Serve as technical lead across multiple projects in protection, automation, and design.
• Identify and present proposals for SEL equipment and services.
• Lead project teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure deliverables meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety.
• Mentor staff and promote SEL values and operating principles.
• Perform commissioning and field support as required.
