Job summary

RINA is recruiting an Infrastructure Project Manager - Ports & Maritime Engineering for its Genoa office. You will steer senior projects from feasibility to construction, coordinating cross‑functional teams across the maritime life cycle.

Key tasks include managing P/L for projects, major contracts, and client/vendor relations, with focus on schedules, budgets and risk management, while supporting tender submissions and business growth within the Ports Group.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project engineering experience in a structured setting or 5+ years in a project management role.
• Knowledge of maritime engineering disciplines and practices is valuable.
• PM certifications (PMP/PRINCE2) desirable; Agile cert (e.g., CSM) beneficial.
• Strong PM skills: scheduling, resources, budgets and lifecycle management.
• Experience in contracts, client and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for overall profit and loss of single projects.
• Manage major contracts within the Business Line.
• Lead technical and contractual discussions with customers and suppliers.
• Apply advanced engineering work planning, scheduling and controlling.
• Coordinate progress of work across engineers, designers, and suppliers.
• Schedule and monitor work plans aligned with contract requirements.
• Supervise archiving and quality control of deliverables.
• Prepare invoicing requests and monitor payments.
