Tecnimont in Palermo, Sicily, invites applications for a Layout & Piping Stress Analysis & Support Engineer to join our team in Catania. The role focuses on delivering stress analysis, piping loads, and design support for large-scale projects worldwide.

You will report to the Group Leader, ensure compliance with engineering practices and quality standards, and collaborate with the Milan team. Fluent English and a minimum five years in O&G or refinery design are required; travel within Italy and

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience in O&G, refinery or plant design.
• Degree in Engineering or Diploma in Technical Discipline.
• Caesar II knowledge required; ROHR2 a plus.
• Teamwork and ability to coordinate with Milan team.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

Mansioni

• Prepare stress calculations under supervision and per instructions.
• Compute piping loads on civil structures.
• Prepare stress component material requisitions and bid evaluations.
• Review deliverables from subcontractors or other design centers.
• Ensure information flow within the job team and file drawings per instructions.
• Keep Group Leader informed on activity status.
